Sayyid Al-Hakeem: to Diversify Income Sources, Abandon Rentier State Current Phase Priority
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office this morning Mr. Shaswar Abdulwahid, Leader of the New Generation Movement, and the meeting included an exchange of views on developments in Iraq's political landscape.
H.E. affirmed the importance of supporting the government in its reform path, calling for completing the ministerial cabinet by appointing competent figures capable of shouldering responsibility during this delicate phase, and stressing the importance of economic reform, diversifying sources of income, and moving away from the rentier state model.
