Sayyid Al-Hakeem Explains Foundations Sustaining Husseini Cause Its Endurance in Nation's Conscience

As part of the commemoration of Ashura of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), the procession of the Youth of Karrada (Ansar Al-Zahra Foundation) received His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, who pointed to a number of foundations that have contributed to the sustained endurance of the Husseini cause and its continued presence in the nation's conscience.

H.E. explained that among the most prominent of these foundations is the diversity of Imam Hussein's (peace be upon him) camp, which included the companions, Ahl Al-Bayt, women, and children, each of whom had a story that enriched the cause and added profound human dimensions to it, in addition to devotion to the cause and obedience to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) as two fundamental pillars of this eternal epic.

H.E. dwelt on the figure of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), pointing to his lofty standing in the Husseini cause, noting that his sharp insight made him an immortalized legend in history, embodied in his shrine and exalted status, until he became a gateway to Hussein (peace be upon him).

H.E. affirmed that life is a stance, and that the right stance is capable of changing the course of events and reigniting the flame of the cause.

H.E. concluded by affirming that the Battle of Taff was, in essence, an alignment between truth and falsehood, between the people of principle and the people of vice, calling for the triumph of truth in every time and place, and noting that the approaches of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) vary between confrontation, counsel, and community-building according to the requirements of each phase.
