Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Resilience Iranian People, Calls Ending Regional Escalation
His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received this morning His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Hassan Ramdhani, Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT).
The two sides exchanged views on developments in the Islamic world at the global level, praising the resilience of the Iranian people and affirming the importance of reaching a comprehensive and just solution that restores stability to the region and prevents a return to escalation.
On Iraqi affairs, H.E. affirmed that Iraq has moved past the state of suffocating political deadlock and succeeded in fulfilling its constitutional entitlements and forming a government through an economic figure suited to the economic and financial challenges surrounding the country.
H.E. noted that Iraq has presented a leading model in the peaceful transfer of power and the recourse to legal and constitutional institutions as the means of expressing disagreement.
