Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Hussaini Rituals Universal Message to Convey Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) Cause
His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met during his visit to Al-Muthanna Governorate with the Committee of Hussaini Processions and Logistical Support in the Governorate.
H.E. expressed his profound joy at meeting the servants of Imam Hussein (PBUH), commending their efforts in commemorating the Arbaeen March year after year, extending his blessings on the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer, and affirming that Ghadeer Khumm represents the affirmation of the political Imamate of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT) through an explicit Quranic text.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem praised the procession of the people of Al-Samawa, which has become a source of admiration and wonder among all who follow it, highlighting the decentralized character that distinguishes Hussaini rituals — as their funding rests on the voluntary giving of the devotees of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT) — and commending in this regard the stances of the generous donors, affirming that belonging to this institution is a true belonging to Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT).
H.E. addressed the essence and substance of Hussaini rituals, explaining that they bring together form and substance in commemorating the tragedy and its grief, calling for the rituals to remain consistent with the principles and standards of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT), so that form does not overshadow substance, while underscoring the pivotal role of the rituals in inspiring the resolve of the public, stirring their sentiments, and uniting their voice.
H.E. concluded by recalling the pioneering role of the late scholar, the Cherished of Iraq, may his soul be sanctified, in establishing the "Ya Hussein" route for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, affirming that the ultimate goal of commemorating these rituals is to carry the Hussaini cause to the furthest reaches of the world.
