Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Farmers Support, to Protect Legitimate Rights
As part of his visit to the Holy Najaf Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a gathering of farmers, extending his blessings on the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer and affirming that Najaf holds great significance for Iraq.
During the meeting, H.E. noted that Iraq is facing a financial crisis as a result of regional developments and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, explaining that Iraq is a wealthy country yet is suffering from a liquidity shortage due to the repercussions of these events.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem renewed his emphasis on the necessity of disbursing farmers' dues as a priority on par with salaries, calling for their support through irrigation sprinklers, seeds, and modern mechanization, and for a review of crop pricing once the current phase has passed. H.E. also affirmed his rejection of any transgression against farmers demanding their legitimate rights.
