Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Phased, Strategic Solutions to Improve Dhi Qar’s Conditions
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met today with the Governor of Dhi Qar, Haytham Al-Hamdani, who presented an overview of the service reality in the governorate and the local government's plans to improve it.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed the importance of services in citizens' lives, calling for serious interventions at both the phased and strategic levels to improve conditions in the governorate.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the importance of investing in the diverse assets with which Dhi Qar Governorate is endowed, noting that it is a multi-sector governorate encompassing agriculture, industry, oil, and tourism, and affirming that activating and mobilizing these sectors will contribute to transforming the governorate's reality for the better.
H.E. also called for achieving integrated performance between the governorate and the provincial council, and pointed to the importance of engaging with universities and academic expertise within the governorate to involve them in developing plans and programs and contributing to the identification of appropriate solutions.
In closing, H.E. stressed the necessity of paying due attention to districts, sub-districts, and townships located far from urban centers, ensuring they are not overlooked in the course of development and service delivery.
