Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Iraqi Contractors’ Role to Provide Job Opportunities, Reduce Unemployment
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at His office this morning Ali Fakher Al-Sanafi, Head of the Iraqi Contractors Union, and the accompanying delegation, where the meeting addressed the financial and economic reality in the country and the means of supporting productive and developmental sectors.
H.E. affirmed the importance of supporting the Iraqi contractors sector for its contribution to providing job opportunities and reducing unemployment, stressing the necessity of diversifying national income sources through mobilizing the industry, agriculture, tourism, investment, and modern technology sectors.
H.E. also noted that the economic reality in the country requires radical solutions, calling for the adoption of immediate, phased, and strategic plans to confront economic challenges, and affirming the importance of supporting the government in this phase, on the basis that the responsibility of facing challenges falls on all without exception.
