Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Diversity Management Importance, Expedite Government Formation, Support Dialogue for Regional Stability with Swiss Ambassador
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received this morning in his office the Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq, Mr. Daniel Hunn. The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples, with an emphasis on strengthening cooperation in a manner that serves shared interests.
His Eminence highlighted that Iraq is a nation rich in diversity, describing this plurality as a source of cultural and social strength, and stressed the need to move toward effectively managing this diversity and turning its components into channels of engagement with regional and international partners.
H.E. emphasized the importance of forming the next government within the constitutional timeframes, noting Iraq’s need for a fully empowered administration capable of addressing political, economic, and financial challenges.
H.E. reiterated the call for a full halt to the war on the Islamic Republic of Iran, advocating dialogue as the appropriate path to resolve disputes and prevent further escalation that would adversely affect all parties without exception.
