    Sayyid AL-Hakeem Affirms Preserving Component Diversity, Preserve True Representation with Kanna, Youkhana

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Mr. Yonadam Kanna and Mr. Emad Youkhana in his office on Saturday evening, 22 November 2025. The meeting witnessed an exchange of congratulations on the successful parliamentary elections and the broad, conscious, and effective participation of all components — a reflection of the Iraqi people’s sense of responsibility and national awareness.
    His Eminence emphasized the importance of protecting the representation of all components and ensuring that their elected figures genuinely express their communities’ political and social aspirations. 
    H.E. noted that the Christian component is a valuable and distinctive part of Iraqi society, reiterating the call to uphold the country’s diversity and advance toward a model of diversity management that strengthens stability and transforms societal components into active channels of engagement with regional and international partners, thereby enhancing Iraq’s position and role at both the regional and global levels.
