    Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Turkish Ambassador: Iraq Experiences Unprecedented Stabilit, Upcoming Elections Pivotal Toward Sustainable Stability

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with H.E. Anıl Bora İnan, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq. The meeting discussed the progress of bilateral ties between Iraq and Turkey and explored ways to strengthen cooperation that benefits both nations and their peoples.
    His Eminence highlighted the importance of coordinating regional positions between Baghdad and Ankara, given their significant influence in the region.
    Concerning the water file, His Eminence urged the need to secure Iraq’s fair share of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, pointing to the country’s growing demand for water to sustain agriculture, irrigation, and daily consumption. H.E. also emphasized the necessity of implementing previously agreed understandings in this field.
    Regarding Iraq’s reality, H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that Iraq is witnessing an unprecedented phase of stability, one that have a positive impact on the broader region, describing the upcoming elections as critical and decisive. It also represents a historic juncture toward achieving lasting stability in Iraq.
