Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Moderation, True Path to Safeguard Iraq, Broad Participation Its Practical Expression
From Babil Province, at the guesthouse of the late Sheikh Abdul Aziz Nasr Al-Faisal, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a group of sheikhs and dignitaries from the Juhaysh tribe, neighboring tribes, and residents of the area.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted that the elections are now approaching, marking the turning point between instability and stability. H.E. referred to recent regional events and the tremendous efforts made to preserve Iraq, calling for the protection of national achievements and preventing any regression in political, social, and security fields. H.E. commended the people of Babil for their steadfastness, their commitment to peaceful coexistence, and the spirit of harmony among the province’s tribes.
H.E. affirmed that the era of security turmoil, sectarianism, and political conflict has passed, stressing that Iraq will endure while foreign agendas fade away, though vigilance must continue.
H.E. underscored that the path of moderation and centrism is the true means of preserving the nation—an approach that should find its reflection in the upcoming elections pointing out that the course of moderation has remained firm and loyal to Iraq, independent of electoral gains, urging the need to seize the current opportunity, particularly this golden moment offered by the forthcoming elections, through broad, active, and informed participation.
