Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Babil: Moderation to Protect Iraq, Electoral Participation to Guarantee Rights

In Babil, the cradle of civilization and history, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the Alliance’s parliamentary candidates in the province. Where His Eminence praised Babil and its people for their deep-rooted faithfulness to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), calling for sincerity in work and reliance upon Allah Almighty, Who suffices the believers and sustains them.
H.E. discussed the upcoming electoral milestone, noting the influence of political money in the current campaign atmosphere, and stressing the importance of distinguishing between candidates who seek personal gain and those driven by service to their country and people. H.E. emphasized the need to embrace positivity and optimism, transforming them into a prevailing social culture.
H.E. reaffirmed that the project of the National State  Powers' Alliance is a project of moderation and centrism—one that promotes unity, preserves the blood of believers, and distances itself from questionable practices. H.E. urged awareness of regional developments and their implications, pointing out that moderation and centrism have been the keys to safeguarding Iraq and thwarting external agendas.
H.E. highlighted the significance of moderation in maintaining Iraq’s hard-won stability, calling for political engagement based on this approach to protect citizens and the political process, reminding that inflammatory rhetoric has only brought tension and crises to the nation.
H.E. called for realism in dealing with people and refraining from making unachievable promises, urging sincere efforts to improve public services and continuous communication with citizens—both during the campaign and after winning seats in parliament. H.E. also underscored the importance of political stability, economic and financial reform, and improving infrastructure and essential services such as water, electricity, health, and education.
H.E. further stressed the need to uphold religious, cultural, and social values, encouraging resistance to social deviations while advocating for balanced regional and international engagement. H.E. urged avoiding disputes and distractions, focusing instead on advancing and promoting the political project through all available means.
