Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met Wednesday evening, October 8, 2025, with a group of sheiks and dignitaries from the Najadat Al-Shammari tribe. His Eminence emphasized that Iraq’s tribal fabric represents a vital source of national strength, commending the long and honorable history of this respected tribe. H.E. noted that the region is witnessing significant developments in light of the challenges faced by Iraq’s neighboring countries, adding that Iraq has managed to engage with regional issues wisely and without becoming entangled in them.
H.E. further explained that Iraq has passed through multiple phases — from instability to fragile stability — and now seeks to reach a stage of lasting and sustainable stability. H.E. stated that the attention given to elections underscores their significance, centrality, and role in consolidating stability, stressing that their outcomes will determine the nation’s future direction.
H.E. called for electing the most capable candidates, those who remain steadfast regardless of titles or positions, highlighting the importance of serving the people of Al-Mada’in District. H.E. urged the need for continuous engagement with the public, focusing on serving, protecting, and empowering them — starting with those closest to each individual and community.
