Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets A’mir Tribe Sheikhs, Dignitaries, Stresses Electoral Participation, Stability Safeguard
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met on Thursday, September 25, 2025, with a group of sheikhs and dignitaries from the A’mir tribes of Dhi Qar Province. His Eminence recalled the long-standing ties with this esteemed tribe, noting that Iraq endured the tyranny of the dictatorial regime, its oppression, and its disregard for the rights of the majority community, its sanctities, rituals, and other respected components.
H.E. underscored the necessity of active participation in the elections, stressing that ballots must be translated into parliamentary seats reflecting Iraq’s social balance. H.E. warned against neglecting rights and achievements, reaffirming the importance of preserving political, social, and security stability, while maintaining Iraq’s engagement with regional issues without becoming entangled in them.
H.E. also highlighted the vital role of parliamentary work within the political system and its influence in securing rights and resources, calling for adherence to moderation and centrism as the most effective approach to safeguarding the interests of Iraq and its people.
