    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Lebanese Ambassador Efforts to Strengthen Bilateral Relations, Reaffirms Iraq’s Support for Lebanon’s Security, Stability

    His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received on Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Lebanese Ambassador to Baghdad, Professor Ali Al-Habhahb, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Iraq.
    The meeting reviewed the ambassador’s tenure and his contributions to advancing bilateral relations between Iraq and Lebanon. H.E. expressed appreciation for these efforts, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
    H.E. also stressed the importance of Lebanon’s security and stability, noting that Lebanon’s stability directly contributes to the stability of the region. H.E. highlighted the similarities in challenges faced by Iraq and Lebanon, and called for the return of displaced persons, the reconstruction of cities, and compensation for victims of Israeli aggression.
    For his part, Ambassador Al-Habhahb reaffirmed Lebanon’s keenness to strengthen bilateral ties across various fields, expanding avenues of cooperation to meet the aspirations of both nations for progress and prosperity, while also valuing Iraq’s supportive stance toward the Lebanese people.
