    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Jawaber Sheikhs and Dignitaries: Conscious Participation in Elections Is a Guarantee for Political Stability

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, with a group of respected sheikhs and dignitaries from the Al-Jawaber family. After welcoming the attendees and listening to their remarks, His Eminence reflected on the events that have unfolded in the region and their impact on Iraq. H.E. noted that Iraq endured a distorted regional reading of the post-2003 phase, one that relied on demonization and confusion, turning Iraq into a gathering ground for extremists and terrorists, in addition to fueling political and social conflicts.
    H.E. pointed out that Iraq today enjoys political, social, and security stability, calling for the preservation of balances and the fair representation of all social components. H.E. stressed the importance of broad, effective, and informed participation in the elections, adding that “every single vote matters and carries weight; we must not underestimate any voice.”
    H.E. further explained that the standard for voting should be directed toward the righteous candidate within the righteous list. H.E. warned that the excessive spending of money by some candidates raises doubts and suspicions, as such expenditures are disproportionate to the financial returns of a parliamentary seat under the law and regulations.
