    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Azm Alliance Chairman, Reaffirms National Unity Commitment, Informed Elections Participation

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received on Saturday, September 13, 2025, Mr. Muthanna Al-Samarrai, Head of the Azm Alliance. The meeting covered the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, along with discussions on upcoming national milestones.
    His Eminence underscored the importance of safeguarding national unity, stressing that the unity of Iraq and its people is a red line that must never be compromised under any circumstance. H.E. further emphasized that electoral competition should be grounded in realistic programs, developmental projects, and ideas capable of advancing the country’s situation.
    H.E. also highlighted the need to keep competition within acceptable bounds, away from fragmentation and division, affirming that elections remain one of the most vital pillars of Iraq’s democratic system. H.E. called for broad, active, and informed participation in the electoral process to ensure genuine representation of the people’s will and aspirations.
