Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Hikma National Movement Leaders, Emphasizes Faith in the Project, Serving People Despite Defamation Campaigns

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met on Friday, September 12, 2025, with a group of organizational leaders from Al-Hikma National Movement in Baghdad in a dialogue session of significant intellectual and organizational depth.
His Eminence opened the meeting by congratulating the attendees on the anniversaries of the Prophet’s birth (peace be upon him and his family) and the birth of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him). H.E. recalled the hardships and persecution faced by the Prophet in delivering his message, pointing out that the path of truth is often accompanied by challenges.
H.E. stressed the necessity of deep faith in the project, urging against being deterred by smear and defamation campaigns. H.E. underlined that the essence of the Islamic message is fundamentally moral and humanitarian, and that noble conduct and compassion are among the most effective means of earning people’s trust and building bridges of communication.
H.E. called for solidarity and compassion among the members of Al-Hikma National Movement and beyond, stressing that service to the people must be offered regardless of their positions or how much they may be influenced by hostile media campaigns. Such an approach, H.E. said, reflects the authenticity of the Prophetic school and the path of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
H.E. also highlighted the shining example of Imam Jaafar ibn Mohammed Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them), who used the political turmoil between the Umayyad and Abbasid dynasties to establish a renowned scholarly institution that produced thousands of scholars. H.E. noted that instability should not mean stagnation, but rather an opportunity for building influence.
In conclusion, H.E. underscored the importance of seizing opportunities, doubling efforts, and working with awareness and planning in preparation for upcoming milestones. H.E. urged organizational leaders to take initiative, think creatively, and employ all available tools to assert their role and champion the path of moderation and centrism represented by Al-Hikma National Movement.
