Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Prophet’s Birth Anniversary a Moment of Awareness to Revive Values and Build the State

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, affirmed in his address at the celebration of the Prophet’s birth anniversary that this blessed occasion is not limited to rituals and festivities, but represents an important civilizational milestone to revive the core human values of honesty, trust, justice, and mercy, which embody the essence of Prophet Mohammed’s message.
His Eminence called for drawing inspiration from the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and adopting their example as a practical guide in daily life, contributing to the consolidation of noble morals and strengthening humanitarian and patriotic values.
In his speech, H.E. launched a national initiative entitled “The Prophetic Project for Iraq,” built on the principles of justice, unity, and public service, with the aim of making Iraq a platform for regional and international dialogue, and a nation that spreads mercy and peace.
H.E. stressed the importance of national unity, describing it as a red line that must not be crossed and a shield against internal and external challenges. H.E. urged for strengthening national cohesion through dialogue and integration.
H.E. further emphasized the importance of empowering youth and women, as Iraq’s future is dependent on their creativity and contributions to reconstruction and development. H.E. also called for combating corruption and achieving genuine reform to restore citizens’ trust in the state and its institutions.
On the political front, H.E. encouraged conscious and active participation in the upcoming elections, with competition based on programs, competence, and integrity—steering clear of the rhetoric of hatred and division.
H.E. warned against the intellectual war targeting youth and the social fabric, emphasizing the importance of a responsible national discourse to confront these challenges and strengthen Iraq’s cultural and intellectual identity.
H.E. also expressed Iraq’s solidarity with the causes of the Muslim Ummah, foremost the Palestinian cause, condemning ongoing Israeli violations, and reaffirming Iraq’s support for the oppressed in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, and Qatar.
H.E. concluded by affirming that values and ethics are the foundation of true renaissance, noting that a nation’s real wealth lies in its morals, and the fall of values inevitably leads to the fall of nations.
H.E. called for honoring the sacrifices of martyrs by building a modern state that safeguards citizens’ rights and secures a bright future for coming generations.
