Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Iraqi Expatriates Visiting for Arbaeen, Stresses Strengthening Ties with Homeland
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of Iraqis residing abroad who had returned to participate in the commemoration of Arbaeen.
His Eminence praised the global and unifying nature of this mass pilgrimage, which brings together diverse nationalities and cultures under the banner of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). H.E. highlighted the generosity, sacrifice, and selflessness displayed by Iraqis during the pilgrimage as a true reflection of the nation’s deeply rooted values.
H.E. urged Iraqi expatriates to remain committed to Islamic and Arab principles while strengthening their connection with Iraq. H.E. also emphasized the importance of presenting a positive image of the country through self-development and meaningful contributions within their host societies.
Touching on Iraq’s current state, H.E. pointed to the political, social, and security stability the country is experiencing, reaffirming the government’s commitment to consolidating and sustaining this progress. H.E. further stressed that the upcoming elections will be a pivotal step in this direction, provided they witness broad and conscious participation from all segments of the Iraqi people.
