Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Importance of Turkmen Unity and Stronger Political Representation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of National State Powers’ Alliance, received Chairman of the Turkmen Front, Mr. Mohammed Samaan, where both sides affirmed the need to strengthen the Turkmen position and overcome divisions, building on the historic relations and enduring stances that bind them together.
His Eminence emphasized the importance of ensuring that the Turkmen play an active role in future governments, one that reflects their standing as the country’s third-largest component. H.E. further stressed that their parliamentary representation must embody their national presence and significance.
H.E. also renewed the call for broad, effective, and conscious participation in the upcoming elections to secure fair representation for the Turkmen and a meaningful role in shaping Iraq’s future.
