Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Head of State of Law Bloc, Discusses Political Developments
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received this morning the Head of the State of Law Bloc in the Council of Representatives, Mr. Yasser Al-Maliki, for a meeting that addressed a range of pressing national issues.
The discussion focused on the evolving political landscape in Iraq and the upcoming milestones—particularly the forthcoming elections and the legislative agenda expected from Parliament in its remaining term.
Both sides emphasized the importance of safeguarding political, social, and security stability and working to strengthen it further. They also stressed the need to ensure electoral security and the transparency of the democratic process in order to bolster public trust in the political system.
