    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Highlights Academics Developmental Role, Urges Expertise Integration into State Institutions

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received this morning a delegation from the Union of Arab Academics and Technicians, led by Dr. Murtadha Al-Noori. The meeting focused on ways to enhance the role of scientific and academic elites in supporting development efforts and advancing state-building.
    His Eminence emphasized the vital contribution of academics to the growth and progress of nations, underscoring the need to harness national expertise and scientific knowledge to strengthen state institutions and develop practical solutions to longstanding challenges across various sectors.
    H.E. also shared his perspective on the current political landscape in Iraq and the region, noting that Iraq is experiencing a period of political, security, and social stability. H.E. called for preserving this stability and turning it into a lasting reality through national unity and shared responsibility.
    In addition, H.E. stressed the importance of supporting scientific research and ensuring it aligns with the aspirations and needs of society. H.E. encouraged greater focus on emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, automation, and other modern sciences that serve as essential pillars for the future.
