    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Condemns Terrorist Attack on Mar Elias Church, Damascus, to Protect All Communities

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in the Syrian capital, Damascus—an attack that claimed the lives and injured dozens of innocent civilians.
    In a statement published on social media, H.E. said:
    “We were deeply pained by the news of the terrorist attack that struck Mar Elias Church in Damascus and led to the loss of numerous lives. While we strongly condemn this heinous act of terrorism, we call on the Syrian government to fulfill its responsibility in safeguarding all citizens, regardless of their religious, sectarian, or ethnic backgrounds.
    We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish a swift recovery to the injured.”
