Sayyid Al-Hakeem Condemns U.S. Strike on Iran, Calls for Urgent International Action to Contain Crisis

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, strongly condemned the recent U.S. aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing deep regret over the incident and warning of its grave consequences for both regional and global security. H.E. emphasized that such escalations risk pushing the region toward dangerous and unpredictable developments.
In a statement posted on social media, H.E. declared:
“We express our deep regret and unequivocal condemnation of the recent U.S. strike on the Islamic Republic of Iran—an act that places the region and the world, along with their security and stability, on the edge of perilous escalation. We denounce these attacks, which constitute a clear violation of international laws and norms, and caution against their far-reaching repercussions, which could drag the entire region and beyond into a full-scale war.”
H.E. urged international organizations—particularly the United Nations, the UN Security Council, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation—not to remain passive observers in the face of these violations. H.E. called for immediate and binding measures to be taken by all parties to de-escalate the situation and to stop the Israeli occupation from continuing its reckless violations of international law, thereby preventing the crisis from expanding further.
“May Allah protect the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people, as well as all Arab and Islamic nations, from harm.”
