    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Hikma Baghdad Organizations Leaders: Urges Preparation for Muharram, Upcoming Elections

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a group of organizational leaders from the capital, Baghdad. The meeting began with condolences offered ahead of the arrival of the sacred month of Muharram. H.E. emphasized the importance of spiritual and organizational readiness for this blessed time, and the need to honor its rituals through programs and activities that renew loyalty and allegiance to the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
    H.E. also addressed regional developments, particularly the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that Tehran had acted responsibly during negotiation rounds and presented proposals consistent with international law, yet was subjected to a treacherous attack despite its commitments.
    H.E. affirmed that the Islamic Republic now enjoys widespread support and solidarity—both officially and popularly—across the Arab and Islamic worlds, and even globally. H.E. called for continued political and media support from Iraq in this regard.
    On matters of organization and fieldwork, H.E. stressed the importance of dedication to public service, urging leaders to stay closely engaged with communities across Baghdad. H.E. emphasized the necessity of adhering to the principles of moderation and balance, rooted in the Holy Qur’an, the Prophetic tradition, and the teachings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), calling for these values to be actively practiced and clearly reflected in the behavior and performance of all leaders.
    Regarding the electoral process, H.E. urged the organizational leadership to begin serious preparations for the upcoming democratic event, and to work diligently toward restoring the movement’s electoral standing. H.E. called for clarity in defining roles and responsibilities at every organizational level to ensure an effective and unified effort.
