    As part of his ongoing engagement with Iraq’s authentic tribal communities, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received a delegation of sheikhs and dignitaries from Al-Umairat tribe in Baghdad. The meeting revisited the historical ties between this respected tribe and national leaders throughout Iraq’s modern history.
    During the gathering, H.E. praised the sacrifices made by the people of Al-Ma’amel area, calling for justice for these underserved regions through improved public services and expanded job opportunities. H.E. emphasized that genuine political representation is the gateway to revitalizing these areas and urged the election of competent and honest representatives over those who rely on empty slogans.
    H.E. also stressed the importance of scrutinizing political rhetoric, noting that some who champion the cause of integrity fail to uphold it in practice. This, H.E. noted, highlights the need for increased awareness in evaluating and choosing public officials.
    On regional developments, H.E. expressed support for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s achievements in confronting the Israeli occupation, stating that Iran has been the target of blatant aggression despite its flexibility during negotiations. H.E. made clear that Iraq is not a neutral bystander, but rather a nation that actively supports and stands in solidarity with Iran—politically, diplomatically, in the media, and through humanitarian aid.
    In conclusion, H.E. underscored the importance of safeguarding the political, economic, social, and security gains Iraq has achieved, and of reinforcing them through continued dialogue and understanding among all national forces.
