    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Political Developments, Iraq’s Regional Role with Foreign Minister

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein to discuss recent political developments in Iraq and the wider region, as well as ways to strengthen Iraq’s role in fostering dialogue and contributing to regional stability. 
    His Eminence emphasized the significance of Iraq’s current political and security stability, stressing the need for this progress to positively reflect on its regional and international relations. H.E. also commended the positive image of Baghdad’s security and urban development showcased during the recent Arab Summit. 
    H.E. underscored that Iraq’s stability is essential for the stability of the entire region, calling for outstanding issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to be resolved in accordance with the constitution and mutual commitments, in a manner that promotes harmony and strengthens joint action. 
    H.E. also expressed hope that the ongoing Iran–U.S. negotiations would lead to positive outcomes beneficial to all parties, urging regional states to support dialogue and prioritize diplomatic engagement over other approaches.
