Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Al Mubarraq’a Guesthouse: Iraq Overcame Crises with Support from Religious Authority, Leaders, Tribes, Stresses Public Awareness for Upcoming Elections

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited the guesthouse of the esteemed Al Sayyid Noor Al-Mubarraq’a family, hosted by Sayyid Nouri Al-Sayyid Mohsen Al-Noori Al-Mubarraq’a. H.E. extended his congratulations on the arrival of the sacred month of Dhu Al-Hijjah and praised the deep-rooted historical ties with the Al-Mubarraq’a lineage.
H.E. emphasized that social bonds are a cornerstone for building a cohesive society and a strong state. H.E. recalled the sacrifices made by the Al-Mubarraq’a family under the former dictatorship, including the lives they gave for the sake of freedom and dignity, and touched on the complex challenges Iraq faced following the regime’s fall—ranging from terrorism to attempts at discrediting the entire post-2003 Iraqi experience.
H.E. explained that Iraq managed to overcome these difficult phases in a relatively short period, attributing this progress to the wisdom of the religious authority, the resolve of national leaders, and the steadfastness of Iraqi tribes—unlike other countries still struggling with chaos and instability.
H.E. underscored the importance of preserving Iraq’s social harmony and noted the growing number of positive stances toward Iraq from regional and global actors, coinciding with a wave of reconstruction and development efforts across several provinces.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq has responded constructively to regional developments without being drawn into conflicts or compromising the gains achieved at home. H.E. called for continuing this balanced approach.
Looking ahead, H.E. described the upcoming elections as pivotal for consolidating stability and reinforcing Iraq’s democratic framework. H.E. called for a vigorous and broad-based electoral campaign that reflects the Iraqi people’s awareness and commitment to shaping their country’s future—akin in momentum to the landmark 2005 elections.
Concluding the address, H.E. noted that the current national priority is a service-oriented agenda focused on rebuilding infrastructure, creating job opportunities, and diversifying the economy. H.E. stressed the importance of raising awareness of citizens’ rights and pursuing them through lawful and peaceful means, while encouraging active, informed participation in the upcoming elections.
