Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Hikma Movement’s Women’s Organizations: Advocates Positive Imam Al-Mahdi’s Reappearance Anticipation

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with members of the Women’s Organizations of Al-Hikma, emphasizing the vital role of women in shaping society and driving change. His Eminence highlighted that the relationship between men and women is one of complementarity and distinction, not discrimination.
At the start of the gathering, H.E. expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their efforts and the hardship they endured to attend, extending his congratulations on the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah and the anniversary of the blessed marriage of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and Lady Fatimah Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).
H.E. affirmed that anticipating the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) is among the highest forms of striving in Allah’s cause, stressing the importance of maintaining a positive and proactive anticipation by fostering faith-driven environments and expanding the community of believers and righteous individuals in preparation for the awaited Imam.
H.E. encouraged personal growth, adherence to values, and continuous efforts for societal reform, emphasizing that the value of deeds is measured by their sincerity and impact, not their scale, as the Qur’anic principle states that only what benefits people endures and lays the foundation for lasting progress.
H.E. also underscored the importance of responsibility and resilience in the face of challenges, noting that engaging in public service demands an understanding of trials as a divine principle that even prophets faced.
On political matters, H.E. explained that Al-Hikma’s vision of politics is rooted in values and principles, with a commitment to faith-driven politics rather than politicized religion, and to moderation and centrism as sources of strength and unity.
H.E. called for outreach to all national groups, building bridges based on shared interests, prioritizing national interests over narrow agendas, and maintaining balance in political stances. H.E. also stressed the significance of the upcoming elections as a pivotal moment to reinforce political stability and empower moderation for the benefit of Iraq and its people.
Concluding his remarks, H.E. emphasized the importance of finalizing preparations, intensifying efforts, and adhering to organizational discipline in anticipation of Muharram, honoring its profound role in inspiring awareness and shaping identity.
