    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed Movement Leader Shaswar Abdulwahid

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Mr. Shaswar Abdulwahid, Head of Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed Movement, for a meeting focused on the evolving political landscape and upcoming national milestones.
    Both sides affirmed the importance of preserving Iraq’s current political stability and working collectively to transform it into a lasting condition that ensures safety and security for all Iraqis.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the need to resolve outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil in accordance with the Constitution and Iraq’s higher national interest. H.E. stressed that mutual concessions from all parties are key to overcoming disputes and building a strong, inclusive state that guarantees the rights of all citizens.
    Looking ahead to the upcoming elections, H.E. called for broad and meaningful participation from political forces and the general public. H.E. highlighted that electoral competition should be rooted in realistic, actionable platforms that prioritize the needs and well-being of the Iraqi people.
