Sayyid Al-Hakeem on World Day for Cultural Diversity: The World Urgently Needs to Strengthen the Culture of Dialogue
On the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of National State Powers' Alliance, stressed the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue as a guiding principle to ensure stability and peace in both the present and future.
His Eminence noted that in a world marked by crises, conflicts, and wars, there is an urgent need to manage ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity wisely, turning pluralism into bridges of communication and understanding among nations and peoples rather than a source of division and discord.
H.E. renewed his call to prioritize dialogue as the foundation for achieving peace and development, affirming that culture and creativity serve as driving forces for sustainable development. He also expressed regret over the cultural and creative sectors not receiving the recognition they deserve in public policies and international cooperation, emphasizing the need to re-evaluate support for these vital sectors in line with their role in shaping and advancing societies.
