Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani to discuss Iraq’s preparations to host the upcoming Arab Summit.
His Eminence highlighted the significance of this event as a testament to Iraq’s recovery and its growing security, political, and social stability. H.E. emphasized the need to ensure high-level Arab participation that reflects the region’s current challenges.
The meeting also addressed the importance of reinforcing the stability achieved in the country, creating a sustainable environment for its continuation, advancing reconstruction and development projects, allocating necessary financial resources to the provinces, and supporting farmers by disbursing their entitlements.
H.E. reiterated a warm welcome to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s decision to dissolve itself, describing it as a positive step toward strengthening regional security and stability, while reaffirming that dialogue remains the essential path to resolving outstanding issues.
