Sayyid Al-Hakeem Welcomes PKK Decision to Disband and Abandon Armed Struggle
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed the announcement by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey to dissolve itself and renounce armed struggle, describing the move as a significant step toward resolving one of the most complex and long-standing issues in the Kurdistan Region and the wider region.
