Sayyid Al-Hakeem Welcomes Baghdad’s Arab Summit, Commends Government’s Success

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed the convening of the Arab Summit in Baghdad, the city of love and peace, describing the return of Arab leaders to the Iraqi capital as a blessed step that reflects Iraq’s standing and its pivotal role in the Arab world.
H.E. emphasized that hosting kings, presidents, and leaders of the Arab world in Baghdad to deliberate on sensitive and strategic issues comes at a critical juncture marked by growing regional and global challenges. This, H.E. noted, requires a unified Arab stance and genuine solidarity to confront these developments through a shared vision that benefits the peoples of the region.
H.E. expressed hope that this summit would mark a turning point in both outcomes and positions, distinguishing itself from previous gatherings. H.E. also commended the tireless efforts of the Iraqi government and all relevant institutions, who worked around the clock to ensure the summit’s success on both logistical and security fronts—efforts that reflect the image of a new and rising Iraq.
