    Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Iranian Media Delegation: Iraq Experiences Unprecedented Stability, Must Be Sustained

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received a media delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss regional and international developments and their impact on the region. His Eminence emphasized the importance of approaching these challenges with national awareness and responsibility, grounded in unity and cohesion, while avoiding both exaggeration and downplaying of events.
    H.E. reaffirmed his unwavering support for Syria’s unity and stability, calling it a fundamental prerequisite for broader regional security. H.E. also stressed the need to guarantee the rights of all Syrian components and to ensure their active participation in shaping the country's political future.
    On the Palestinian issue, H.E. reiterated his firm support for the Palestinian people—especially the residents of Gaza who continue to endure ongoing aggression. H.E. urged the international community to take immediate action to stop Israeli attacks, facilitate humanitarian aid, and contribute meaningfully to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. H.E. also reaffirmed Iraq’s political, logistical, and media solidarity with both the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
    Turning to the domestic scene, H.E. noted that Iraq is currently witnessing an unprecedented level of political, security, social, and economic stability. H.E. described the country as a vast worksite undergoing a noticeable wave of urban development and reconstruction across all provinces.
    H.E. concluded by underscoring the importance of the upcoming elections as a pivotal step toward long-term stability. H.E. called on political forces to compete based on service-oriented programs and urged the Iraqi people to engage in broad, informed participation to ensure genuine representation aligned with their aspirations.
