Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires to Discuss Political Developments, Regional Peace
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received Her Excellency Elizabeth Kennedy, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. The meeting focused on the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as prospects for enhancing stability and fostering regional peace.
H.E. highlighted the tangible progress Iraq has achieved in recent years, noting steady strides toward development and prosperity. H.E. pointed to significant improvements in public services and infrastructure, along with the overall stability the country now enjoys, positioning Iraq as a key player in promoting regional security and cooperation.
H.E. also emphasized Iraq’s readiness to host the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad, describing it as a crucial opportunity for Arab leaders to engage in dialogue and exchange perspectives on the region’s pressing challenges. H.E. added that the summit sends a strong message of support for Iraq and its people at this pivotal moment.
Regarding Iraq’s upcoming elections, H.E. underscored their importance in solidifying long-term stability.
