    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi Al-Amiri, Stresses Need for Stability and Election Readiness

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Mr. Hadi Al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization. The two leaders discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the broader region, with a particular focus on preparations for upcoming local and parliamentary elections.
    During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of preserving the current atmosphere of national stability, viewing it as a shared responsibility among all political forces. They noted that continued stability positively impacts security, economic growth, public services, and the overall well-being of Iraqi citizens.
    H.E. underscored the need for early and serious preparation for the next round of elections, calling for competition based on clear programs and public service—not narrow interests or inflammatory rhetoric. H.E. urged for broad and informed public participation, encouraging Iraqis to elect candidates who are most capable, credible, and committed to serving the people's aspirations.
    On regional affairs, H.E. reiterated his firm position on the importance of safeguarding the rights of all segments of the Syrian population and ensuring their genuine involvement in shaping the country’s political future. H.E. stressed that inclusive governance in Syria is key to long-term stability in both Syria and the wider region.
