Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Albo Alwan Tribe Guesthouse in Anbar: Anbar is Beyond Lean Years, Iraq Advances Toward Strong, Consolidated State

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited the guesthouse of the Albo Alwan tribe, hosted by Sheikh Hamed Rasheed Mhenna, where H.E. met with a group of tribal sheikhs and dignitaries in Al-Anbar Governorate as part of ongoing outreach tours to tribes and community actors across various provinces.
In his remarks, Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted the importance of direct engagement with the people and tribes of Al-Anbar, noting that the governorate today stands as a success story—having shaken off the dust of its lean years and emerged from a difficult phase with renewed hope and vitality. H.E. praised the reconstruction and recovery efforts taking place in the province.
H.E. pointed out that there is now widespread awareness of the value of moderation and the dangers of extremism, and that focus has shifted toward building a strong state capable of protecting its citizens and fulfilling their aspirations. H.E. stressed that the immense sacrifices made to liberate the land and safeguard Iraq must be preserved and passed on to future generations as defining moments in the nation’s history.
H.E. underlined the importance of integration and moving beyond divisions, explaining that Iraq has managed, within a relatively short period, to overcome complex challenges. H.E. called for resetting disputes and building genuine national consensus as a foundation for a prosperous and stable Iraq.
On the electoral front, H.E. urged that the upcoming elections be seized as an opportunity to shape the next phase through conscious and effective participation that guarantees true representation for all Iraqi provinces—including Al-Anbar—by electing competent figures capable of shouldering responsibility.
H.E. also noted that the world now views Iraq’s stability and progress positively, emphasizing the need to safeguard these achievements and build upon them to lay the groundwork for lasting stability. H.E. addressed the issue of compensation claims, calling for fairness toward rightful claimants while preventing exploitation of the file. H.E. affirmed that the state must provide tangible, meaningful care for its citizens.
In conclusion, Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that Iraq is now in the phase of consolidating the state, following the foundational phase that began in 2005. H.E. noted that a strong state requires robust presence across all sectors and that building a powerful Iraq hinges on integration, justice, genuine representation, and optimal investment in available opportunities.
