    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Swiss Deputy Foreign Minister, Affirms Iraq’s Stability Reflected in Growing International Engagement

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received in his office Her Excellency Ambassador Monika Schmutz Kirgöz, Deputy Foreign Minister of Switzerland, accompanied by the Swiss Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Daniel Hunn. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and recent developments in Iraq.
    His Eminence emphasized that the increasing visits by international delegations to Iraq are a clear sign of the country’s recovery—not only in terms of security, but also through the unprecedented political and social stability now taking root. H.E. noted that Iraq’s balanced foreign policy further reflects its growing regional and international stature.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted Iraq’s rich civilizational heritage and its promising potential for progress across multiple sectors. H.E. remarked that the current phase is the result of long and difficult struggles endured by the Iraqi people. H.E. expressed hope that the upcoming elections would mark a significant step toward lasting stability, provided they yield responsible political outcomes that prioritize national interest above all else.
