    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Lebanon’s Bilateral Relations, Stability, Sovereignty Support

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received His Excellency Mr. Ali Al-Habhab, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to Baghdad, for discussions on regional developments and the current situation in Lebanon.
    His Eminence stressed the importance of the bilateral relationship between Baghdad and Beirut, calling for stronger cooperation across various fields to serve the interests of both nations. H.E. also emphasized the need to address the aftermath of the recent conflict, urging serious efforts to aid displaced Lebanese citizens and facilitate their return to their towns and villages.
    H.E. reaffirmed Iraq’s full support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and its right to extend authority across its entire territory, highlighting the importance of Arab unity in bolstering the stability of sister states.
    H.E. also reviewed the situation in Iraq, noting that the country is preparing to host the upcoming Arab Summit. H.E. underlined the importance of ensuring that the summit produces resolutions that meet the scale of the challenges facing the Arab and Islamic worlds and contribute to strengthening joint Arab action.
