Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Head of Religious Authority for Ahl Al-Bayt Followers in Syria, Stresses Unified Discourse, Strengthened Social Cohesion
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received His Eminence Sayyid Abdullah Nizam, Head of the Religious Authority for Followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Syria. During their meeting, they exchanged views on the broader political landscape, particularly in countries where followers of Ahl Al-Bayt reside.
H.E. emphasized the critical importance of maintaining a unified religious discourse and rejecting divisive rhetoric that sows discord. H.E. underscored the need for Muslims to present a united stance on pivotal issues and the pressing challenges facing the Islamic nation.
H.E. also called for reinforcing concepts of societal cohesion and activating channels that nurture unity and closeness within communities. H.E. stressed the importance of modernizing religious discourse tools to meet the needs of the current era, ensuring effective engagement with youth, and confronting alien ideas that threaten the fabric and authentic values of our societies.
Regarding Syria, H.E. reaffirmed support for the unity of Syrian territory and emphasized the necessity of involving all segments of Syrian society in shaping political decisions, in a manner that strengthens Syria’s stability and national unity.
