Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Serving Citizens Is the Shortest Path to Earning Allah’s Pleasure, Provincial Councils Must Remain Focused on Public Service
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with members of the Alliance’s blocs in local governments to review the current state of public services across the provinces and to assess the key challenges and needs facing citizens.
His Eminence stressed that serving the people is among the noblest responsibilities and the most direct path to earning the pleasure of Allah Almighty. H.E. called for intensified efforts to improve service delivery and enhance performance across all provinces.
H.E. noted that Iraq is undergoing a significant transformation, becoming a major hub of reconstruction and development, as witnessed during recent field visits to various provinces. H.E. emphasized the importance of sustaining this developmental momentum to positively impact the lives of Iraqis.
H.E. also urged the need to keep provincial councils away from political rivalries and disputes, affirming that local governments are fundamentally service-oriented institutions. H.E. stressed that they must remain focused on their core mission of meeting citizens’ needs and avoid being drawn into political tensions.
