    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Iraqi Unity, Stability During Meeting with Samarra Tribal Sheiks, Dignitaries

    During a gathering hosted at the guesthouse of MP Muthanna Al-Samarrai, Head of Azm Alliance, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of tribal sheiks and dignitaries from Samarra District and Salah Al-Din Governorate. H.E. reaffirmed that these visits are meant to express appreciation for the people of these generous provinces and to maintain continuous communication that strengthens social ties among the components of the Iraqi people while also helping to address the challenges they face.
    In his address, H.E. praised the positive developments currently unfolding in Iraq, noting that although the country had previously suffered from targeted campaigns of demonization and defamation, it is now experiencing remarkable stability on political, social, security, and economic fronts. H.E. stated, “Diversity is now a natural part of Iraqi gatherings, reflecting unity and solidarity among all societal components—accompanied by visible urban development and Iraq’s growing constructive relations with regional and international partners.”
    H.E. also renewed the call for the return of displaced persons to their areas, emphasizing that, with the current state of security, there is no longer a valid reason for their continued displacement. H.E. added that resolving this file requires shared responsibility and action from social actors across all regions.
    Concluding the meeting, H.E. underscored the need to update voter registration cards and to actively participate in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that such engagement is essential to strengthening democracy and shaping Iraq’s future.
