    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Jihad and Construction Movement’s Secretary-General, Stresses National Unity, Economic Diversification

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received this morning the Secretary-General of the Jihad and Construction Movement, Mr. Jawad Raheem Al-Sa’idi. The meeting reflected on the historical phases during which both sides stood together in confronting dictatorship, resisting terrorism, and contributing to the construction of the modern Iraqi state. Both parties reaffirmed the importance of continued communication between political powers with a shared legacy of struggle and stressed the need to introduce new generations to that era, along with its heroes, symbols, and leaders.
    The discussion also addressed the current political situation in Iraq and the wider region. Sayyid Al-Hakeem underscored the necessity of facing today’s challenges through strengthening national unity and upholding moderation and balance in political discourse.
    On the economic front, H.E. called for addressing the consequences of rising oil prices by diversifying the national economy, revitalizing productive sectors, and supporting local industry to ensure sustainable economic growth for Iraq.
