    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, His Excellency Glenn Miles. The meeting included an exchange of views on regional developments and discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Australia in ways that serve the interests of both nations and their peoples. His Eminence also referred to the upcoming electoral milestones in both Iraq and Australia.
    His Eminence called for enhanced cooperation and the exchange of expertise in agriculture and efficient water resource management, emphasizing the importance of Australian companies seizing the promising investment opportunities Iraq offers across various sectors.
    His Eminence also highlighted the current state of unprecedented political, social, and security stability in Iraq, along with growing public satisfaction stemming from the ongoing wave of reconstruction, infrastructure development, and national progress, and also affirmed that Iraq’s stability contributes positively to the stability of the broader region and the world.
    In conclusion, His Eminence reiterated his condemnation of the renewed shelling on Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire, the resumption of negotiations, and urgent efforts to aid displaced families and rebuild their cities.
