    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires in Baghdad

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Mr. Daniel Rubinstein, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Baghdad. The meeting included an in-depth discussion on the latest developments in Iraq, the wider region, and the broader geopolitical landscape.
    During the meeting, H.E. voiced deep concern over the renewed israeli aggression against Gaza, reiterating the urgent need to promote dialogue and reason as foundations for lasting peace and stability across the region. H.E. stressed the importance of avoiding conflict and warned of the severe consequences that war can bring.
    H.E. also highlighted Iraq’s proven capabilities in countering terrorism, underscoring the country’s resilience and readiness to confront emerging security challenges. He emphasized the importance of strengthening Iraqi-American relations in ways that serve the mutual interests of both nations while preserving Iraq’s sovereignty and independent decision-making.
