    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets King Abdullah, Commends Jordan’s Palestinian Displacement Plans Firm Rejection

    During his visit to the Jordanian capital, Amman, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting focused on Iraq-Jordan relations and the latest regional and international developments.
    On bilateral ties, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across various sectors, fostering closer relations and greater integration between the two nations. Sayyid Al-Hakeem also reiterated his support for the trilateral partnership with Egypt, emphasizing the importance of advancing joint Arab initiatives.
    Regionally, Sayyid Al-Hakeem and King Abdullah discussed the evolving situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. His Eminence reaffirmed his support for Jordan’s pivotal role in thwarting displacement schemes and facilitating humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the West Bank.
    Regarding Syria, Sayyid Al-Hakeem expressed his support for the country's stability and the need for an inclusive political process to transition out of its current phase. H.E. strongly condemned the recent attacks on Syria’s coastal region, warning against their potential to deepen internal divisions. H.E. also stressed the necessity of ending the Israeli occupation of Syrian land and upholding existing agreements.
    On Lebanon, Sayyid Al-Hakeem welcomed the completion of the government formation process, emphasizing the need to support Lebanon in restoring stability, overcoming the impact of Israeli aggression, and advancing reconstruction efforts. Both sides also voiced their support for the success of the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad, expressing hope that it would mark a turning point in strengthening Arab cooperation and addressing the region’s challenges.
