    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets the Swiss Ambassador to Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Regional Stability

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received H.E. Daniel Hunn, the Swiss Ambassador, in his office. They exchanged views on the bilateral relations between Iraq and Switzerland and ways to enhance them across all sectors, to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
    In this context, Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized Iraq’s openness to all nations, ensuring its sovereignty while achieving shared interests with all parties.
    H.E. also highlighted the stability achieved in Iraq, noting that it is the result of the significant sacrifices made by the Iraqi people from all communities. H.E. explained that this stability has multiple dimensions, including political, social, and security aspects.
    Regarding the developments in Syria and the broader region, H.E. stressed the importance of Syria’s stability and the preservation of its demographic diversity. H.E. also emphasized the need for regional stability and the reconstruction of cities devastated in various countries, particularly Palestine and Lebanon, calling for the return of displaced persons and the restoration of normal life in these areas.
    This visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation with friendly nations, focusing on issues vital to regional stability and the promotion of peace in the Arab world.
