Sayyid Al-Hakeem at Iftar with Sanitation Engineers: Appreciation for Their Efforts and Call to Use Ramadan to Enhance Giving
In a special iftar gathering, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of sanitation engineers in Baghdad, in the presence of Baghdad Governor Mr. Ammar Mousa. Sayyid Al-Hakeem expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of this vital community sector, praising their continuous service to the country and hard work in providing a clean and healthy environment for the citizens.
In his speech during the meeting, Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted the importance of people’s desire to offer services and prioritize them for citizens. H.E. noted that this desire reflects a positive shift in Iraqi society, as citizens move beyond the security, social, and political concerns that once troubled them.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also took the opportunity to emphasize the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, urging everyone to make the most of this blessed month, which represents a time for giving and hospitality from Allah. H.E. wished that everyone would be among those blessed by its mercy, not deprived of its blessings. He stressed the need for security and peace to prevail across the region and the world.
Regarding sanitation engineers, Sayyid Al-Hakeem called for justice in their treatment and the granting of their rights. H.E. stressed the importance of viewing public property as private property, emphasizing the need to protect and maintain it. H.E. also underscored the necessity of working diligently and with excellence in all aspects of life.
